Hey Baby Boutique Fair reserves the right to approve or reject any application. Limited stands available: 2.2m x 2.2m Stand @ R1900.00 OR 3m x 3m Stand @ R2400.00 (SOLD OUT). Standard Terms & Conditions

1. STALL INFORMATION

1.1. Inside standard hall size is either 2.2m x 2.2m or 3m x 3m Floor space ONLY.

1.2. We do not provide a shell scheme package.  A back wall divider will be provided for stalls in the middle of the hall.  No side dividers will be provided.

1.3. A maximum of 2 stalls may be acquired by any one vendor.  No sharing of stalls without prior written confirmation from the organisers.

1.4. Vendors are responsible for their own setup (tables, chairs, branding material, dividers, decor, rails, etc.).

1.5. This is an indoor/outdoor market at a secure venue. Food & Vendors & Trucks will need own gas or power generation.

1.6. Vendors must please make sure they have enough stock and business cards for the duration of the market.

1.7. Vendors will handle their own cash sales and are welcome to bring along their own card facilities/snap scan (make sure you have enough cash for change).

1.8. Vendors are responsible for supplying their own carry bags/packaging.

1.9. Please advise if you require electricity at your stall (additional cost of R50.00 will be incurred per stall) Should you require electricity, the vendor is responsible for their own extension cords and multi-plugs.  Limited availability.

1.10. The precise location of the stall will be at the Organisers’ reasonable discretion.

1.11. All fixtures and fittings other than the stall itself in terms of this agreement will be prepared and installed entirely at the vendors cost, but subject to the Organisers being entitled to issue written directives with regard to materials layout and design thereof.

1.12 The vendor may not remove or dismantle any portion of the stall before expiry of the duration of the market.

1.13. The vendor must remove the installation and return the stall to the condition in which it was given to the vendor, by no later than 18:30 on Sunday 25th February 2018.

1.14. 2 x {HEY BABY} Vendor tickets per stall per day (Additional vendor staff must pay day fee)

1.15. All vendors will make sure their stall areas are cleaned of litter and decor at the end of the market.

1.16. No late arrivals, closed or unmanned stalls during the fair hours.

 

2. DATE & VENUE

*24th and 25th February 2018 (24th February Fair Times: 09h00 to 17h00) & (25th February Times: 10h00 to 16h00) These times may be revised at a later date.

3. PAYMENT

3.1. The cost of a stall is R1900.00 for a 2.2mx2.2m stall and R2400.00 for a 3m x 3m stall without electricity.

3.2. A 50% non refundable deposit is payable immediately once the vendor has been approved and allocated a stand.

3.3. Your stall is only confirmed once we have received your payment in full.

3.6. Should the vendor cancel the stall booked after 18 January 2018, the organisers will not refund stall/deposits fees for cancellations after this date, unless a replacement can be found for your stand.

3.7. All late submissions (from the 18 January 2018) will be charged at the following rates for a stall (excl electricity).  2.2m x 2.2m Stand @ R1900.00 OR 3m x 3m Stand @ R2400.00.

 

4. SELECTION CRITERIA

4.1. Products and services must be unique and creative.

4.2. Products and services may be sourced locally and internationally.

4.3. Products and services must be aimed at moms, babies, children or all three.

4.4. Organisers will only allow a few selected vendors per category to avoid repetition and to give the vendors a fair chance. It also allows our guests to see a good variety of products and services.

4.5. Food vendors need to supply certification in order to trade.

 

5. CANCELLATION OF THE MARKET

5.1 All aspects of the promotion and marketing of the market will be in the sole and absolute discretion of the Organisers.

5.2 The parties agree and acknowledge that the Organisers make no warranties or representations regarding the success of the market, nor the number of persons expected to attend the market.

5.3 The parties agree and acknowledge that the Organisers may, in their own discretion cancel or postpone the market, in which event the vendor will be entitled to be refunded with all amounts paid to the Organisers by the vendor in respect of the market.

 

6. INDEMNITY

6.1 The Vendor irrevocably and unconditionally waive all rights and claims that he/she may have against the Organisation, the members of it personally and/or any employees, representatives or contractors of the Organisers, resulting from, directly or indirectly, in the widest sense, the actions or inactions of any of the above-mentioned persons including the negligence of all or any of them in respect of their obligation in terms of this agreement and in addition hereby indemnify and hold any of the above-mentioned persons harmless against any claims that may be instituted against all or any of them (including legal cost on a scale as between attorney and own client), by any third parties resulting from any actions or inactions stipulated above.

6.2 The Organisers will not be liable for any damages or lost of income, direct or indirect, of whatsoever nature and howsoever caused including but not limited to theft, weather, fire, cancellation of the market, attendance of the market and power failure, suffered by the Stall Holder and furthermore the Organisers will not be responsible for any damage of whatsoever nature caused to the stall or other property brought into the market by the Stall Holder or his/her servants, or for any injury to the person of the Stall Holder or any of its servants, howsoever such damage or injury may have been caused.
